Goodbye 2009...

and don't let the door hit you in the @$$!

Let's see, in 2009...

• my mystery illness began in January
• I worked my 9th tax season
• I had 4 ER visits, 1 hospital stay and about 1,000 doctor visits and prescriptions
  
• I lost my job (my boss hired his daughter and I got the boot)
  
• I had to have lung biopsy
• we had to put our greyhound to sleep
  
• I got a job and moved back 'home' to Nebraska
• my mystery illness intensifies and stays continuously since August
  
• I had another ER visit, more doctor visits and prescriptions
  
• we are pretty sure the latest bouts of illness are due to mold exposure - homeowner unwilling to test and/or fix so we are back on the house hunt
  

Yes, I'm definitely ready to put 2009 behind me.

YET

I know there are many blessings in my life. My son is amazing. He makes me smile and laugh everyday. I love seeing the world through his eyes. It is so fun to see what he finds interesting. A hug and an 'I love you' from him makes all the stress fade away!

My family is amazing. Ladik is thriving out here. He loves being able to be outside more, he loves his new daycare and LOVES being spoiled by his grandma, aunts and cousins. I love being back 'home'. I love running into my sister at the gas station or church. I love being only an hour away from my Mom.

So here's to putting all the crap of 2009 behind me and starting anew in 2010!
